Weekly Plan: Eat, Pray, Learn, Discuss, and Hold Accountable
Resolved Disciples will meet weekly with other Resolved Disciples to love, encourage, teach, pray, and hold each other accountable to their Godly resolve. The topics for these meetings will cycle through the 12 areas of life.
The meeting place will allow for everyone to watch a video or speaker while at tables in groups of 6-8. Each table would have its own leader. If the groups are virtual, each group would have a leader and co-leader and should never be more than 15 people to still allow for individual growth and accountability.
Eat Together
30 minutes: Spend time eating and talking together before the meeting starts. The exact plan for food does not really matter but here are a few ideas:
Everyone can bring their own food to eat or share for a potluck
Takeout can be picked up or delivered for those at the weekly meeting
For smaller meetings, the host or designated person can make food
Larger meetings can be catered
Introductions and Prayer For Understanding
10-15 minutes: Start the meeting with general introductions and then spend time in prayer, focusing on the need for correct understanding of the topic presented by the host/speaker.
Learn
15-30 minutes: The host will show a video lesson or have a speaker give a presentation.
Discuss
15-30 minutes: After the video or during the presentation, everyone should discuss the topic of the night within their group, especially relating to how to respond to the presentation.
Be and Hold others Accountable
10-15 mins: This is for group accountability, where Resolved Disciple Makers ask their Resolved Disciples if they met with their accountability partner in the past week and if help is needed for any particular issues. There may also be some questions revolving around the topic for the evening.
